snap, or mobile SAP, is an affordable, off-the-shelf and ready-to-use mobile SAP product that aims to cultivate a more productive and mobile workforce. snap understands the importance of mobilizing your business processes, allowing one's business to increase its revenue. This mobile offering will integrate SAP with BlackBerry's native applications which leverages on the push-based architecture of BlackBerry Enterprise Server to automate data synchronization.

snap allows SAP users to view, forward and approve workflow items and requests while away from a desktop or laptop. It is built to support data integrity, validation, scalability and maintainability.

snap is built as a thick client on your mobile handset that allows you to process SAP transactions without always having to have a live connection to your server. All the information you need will be easily available on your handset, to help you during assessment process. Snap Modules

Currently there are five (5) modules of snap available: MM, PP, SD, FI/CO & HR

MM is materials management where users can approve purchase requisitions and orders.

PP is an inventory notification alert for missing parts.

SD is Sales & Distribution which allows processing of sales orders with management approval, correction of price quantity, sales discounts and holding of deiveries due to credit block.

FI/CO is focused on financial accounting where the user can release parked documents.

HR concentrates on human resources where users can check leave balance, apply, check status and approve or deny leaves.
