DLSU`s 5th Business Management Students` Convention
The Business Management Society (BMS), a professional student organization from De La Salle University, held their 5th Business Management Student Convention (BMSC) on November 5 – 9, 2012 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University.
For this year’s BMSC, Novare Technologies’ General Manager, Kenneth Palacios, was invited as a speaker. Palacios’ talk entitled, “Creating New Markets”, took note on the changes that technology has brought to our lives. Palacios encouraged the audience to not only research, but also to look back on past products to see what else can be improved. He challenged them to look forward, saying that the things we know of today will be different in five years or less.
The 5th BMSC aptly themed “Technopreneurship”, aimed to provide Business Management students, with seminars that focus on maximizing the capabilities of today’s technological advancements. The goal of the convention was for the participants to effectively employ the advantages of technology, that they may be able to create new markets and revolutionize the way they do business. There was an expected 600 participants not only from De La Salle University but from other distinguished universities as well.
